Our Ministries
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
As a Local Independent Baptist Church, we seek to obey the command of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ concerning His great commission. We seek to take part in the preaching of the gospel both here in Montalba and throughout the world. We take them both literally and seriously. We are privileged to be able to support Bible Believing Baptist Missionaries around the world both financially and in prayer. We support missions throughout our own nation, as as well as unto the uttermost part of the earth. We also take part actively in ministering throughout our state and nation through door to door visitation and prison ministry.
Prison Ministry
A ministry of Bible Baptist Church focused upon taking the word of God to those incarcerated in the Texas Department of Corrections. We seek to provide inmates with an opportunity to hear the words of God through preaching and teaching in old fashion King James Bible preaching services. We are continually seeking more opportunities to hold services within prisons.
It is the desire of Bible Baptist Church to see souls saved and lives changed and we know that only His words can produce eternal change.
Missions
Bible Baptist Church is privileged to be able to support like minded Independent Baptist Missionaries throughout our nation and unto the uttermost part of the earth. The members of Bible Baptist faithfully give Faith Promise Missions offerings over and above the tithe, for the purpose of taking part in supporting missionaries throughout our nation and abroad. We continually take on missionaries as the Lord provides, in obedience to His plan and commission given unto us. It is an absolute blessing to be able to see the men who have been called of God into His service oversees and take part in the ministry God has called them into. We cannot be everywhere at one time but we can be obedient to the "both" through our giving to world wide missions.
