Acts 13:1-4

(1)  Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

(2)  As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

(3)  And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

(4)  So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

Bible Baptist Church is a local visible body of BLOOD bought Born Again Believers, whom have followed their Lord's command concerning Local Church water Baptism.  Bible Baptist Church was planted out of Wilson Creek Baptist Church in Battlefield, MO, in accordance with the Lord's plan for planting local visible churches around the world as seen in Acts 13 above.

The Lord sent Pastor Ronn Herod to Montalba, TX out of his sending church with a desire to be obedient to the Lord's command concerning the Great Commission and plant a Local, Fundamental, Independent, King James Bible Believing, Baptist Church.  The Church began meeting in the old Bradford Cafe on Sunday and Wednesday evenings and in the Herod's home in 2014.  The Historic Montalba Chapel building was rented from July 2016 through July 2019 as the meeting place for the church.  In July 2019 the first building project was completed and the Lord gave us a continual meeting location on Highway 19, one mile south of Montalba, TX.  

The sons of God which make up Bible Baptist Church have a great desire to reject the forsaking of the assembling of ourselves together and continually join together for the primary purpose of the preaching and teaching of the Scriptures in the English tongue, the King James Bible.  Our services consist of King James Bible Preaching/Teaching, without any form of correction whatsoever.  The message is delivered in the tongue of the hearer, that is in the tongue wherein they were born, which in our location is English.  We also enjoy Biblical Hymnal singing to begin and end our services, as well as times of fellowship one with another throughout the year.  There are no games and no gimmicks, it's just church the way it use to be.
